STAB PROOF BODY ARMOUR

Hellweg's light weight range of stab resistant personal body armour is compliant to NIJA - 0115.00 Australian standards, it is most commonly used by various security industry professionals Australia wide. The Hellweg Level 2 Vests will resist against both single and double edged bladed weapons.

The Hellweg Level 3 Vests are most commonly used by major correctional facilitates due to their ability to also resist against ice pick threats including both single and double edged bladed weapons.

The scope of this standard does not address ballistic threats and is only intended and limited to resist against stab threats, however most personal stab resistant body armour that is capable of defeating stab threats will also perform satisfactory against most slash threats.
